Tomb Raider Anniversary - Visual Walkthrough
When you surface you'll be in a village hut. Pull the lever in front of you to open the door. Go up the stairs, and jump into the next hut. The floor boards in front of you will fall if you stay too much on them, but don't worry. In the hut shoot the doors to open the hut's door. Move the crate with the poor dead man, under the "window" in the hut (the one opposite of the side you came in) and use it to climb on, and get the small medi-pack. Now, go onto the next room of the hut and grab the shotgun ammo and the key you needed to continue. Pull the cage with you into the room, and climb onto the second floor, where you'll find another medi-pack and shotgun ammo. Cool.
Use the key on the lock. The door will open. In the room you'll hear wolves. There are 3 of them for you to test your ammo on J You'll reach a pretty impressive temple. To open the main door of the temple you'll have to do a bit of climbing.
Choose one of the two doors, and go through it. The solution is the same for both and eventually you'll reach the same place at the top, to activate the door openers.
So, in the chosen room you'll have to do a little bit of climbing. When you reach the top, go up the stairs and kill the bats (2 or t3 depending on the chosen side). Jump on the other side, and then jump onto the pillar which will turn and unlock one of the door locks. Repeat for the second.
Climb down, and go through the opened doors. You'll reach another beautifully made room (like all the rooms in Tomb Raider Anniversary). Jump onto the ledge with the slide. For now, slide down it and kill the wolf. Grab the shotgun ammo.
To get up again, grab the cage and pull it between the slide and where you entered the room. You should be able to climb back up, and then on the ridge with the slide.
You can use the cage to get to the Artifact #1.
This time slide and jump grabbing the pole. Continue onto the next platform.
To reach the other side you'll have to jump on the thin pole in front of you first.
In the next room, Lara won't face any hard chalenges. Just climb down, pass under the ledge with the shooting arrows, and climb up, until you get into the position in the image below:
Just do a backwards jump, then go through the hallway, and you're off to level 3!
